Brazilian telecom media launch joint campaign asking for support

Five of the main media outlets specialized in telecommunications and technology in Brazil have launched a joint campaign under the slogan #apoieojornalismoespecializado.

The campaign, started by Convergência Digital, Mobile Time, Tele.Síntese, Teletime and TI Inside, seeks to draw attention to the importance of specialized sector journalism and the need to finance their efforts in the midst of the economic crisis generated by COVID- 19.

The initiative also highlights that the ICT ecosystem, including its technologies and services, is essential to reduce the impact of social isolation. Within this sector, journalistic activity is key for professionals, government and companies to make their decisions.
