On January 16, the Brazilian media outlet specialized in telecommunications, Tele.Síntese, announced the publication of its last edition, after the death of its editorial director and team leader, journalist Miriam Aquino, on January 7 in Brasilia.
The outlet explained that “it became practically impossible to maintain the project with the quality and reliability that always characterized Tele.Síntese and the other publications of Momento Editorial,” its publishing house.
They also said that they will keep the databases of Momento Editorial publications open “in respect of the more than 600,000 monthly readers of Tele.Síntese and all those who need information on the digital economy, telecommunications, information and communications technologies and the Internet.”
